The new Park & Ride in Hoogkerk is officially in operation since January 2011.
Buses depart from the Park & Ride to the city of Groningen. The parking lot has a waiting room with information displays. These displays provide clear information
about arrival and departure times of buses and mention the platforms from where the buses will leave.
Strukton Systems was the system integrator responsible for the design and
realisation of the displays, including the project management, basis and detail
engineering, purchasing, installation, testing and commissioning. A guarantee
phase including maintenance period follows after completion of the project.
In addition to the installation and realisation of the required control and
application software, Strukton Systems took care of the design and creation of
aesthetically pleasing suspension structures for the displays. Strukton Systems did so in cooperation with the supplier. The displays form an architectural whole with the environment. A service and maintenance contract was closed for the project simultaneously.
