In addition to the POSS projects in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Sweden and Switzerland, Strukton Rail has some small POSS projects running in Austria, Great-Britain, Belgium, Russia and Australia.
POSS Austria
15 of the most critical points surrounding the railway station of Jenbach are being monitored by POSS on behalf of the Österreichische Bundesbahnen (ÖBB).
POSS Great Britain
In the spring of 2005, a pilot started on Kennedy Wharf at Docklands (London). The project involves a light-rail application: an extended metro line. The POSS system is monitoring six points on Kennedy Wharf.
Since May 2006, POSS has also been installed on five points along the 180 kilometre long railway line in the Channel Tunnel Rail Link between Ashford and Fawkham. This tunnel connects London with the Channel Tunnel.
POSS Belgium
In January 2006, Infrabel, the rail infrastructure manager in Belgium, started plants to have a test site involving five points in Mechelen.
POSS Australia
POSS is also winning ground on the other side of the world. Railcorp, mechanics at the railway company of New South Wales, have installed POSS by themselves using a do-it-yourself-kit and a POSS manual. They were assisted by one engineer from Strukton Rail to install the software and make sure the systems worked. POSS has been monitoring five points in the Waterfall since January 2006.
