Applications of POSS 



POSS® is a system designed for monitoring infrastructure objects, vehicles and other objects.
 


Infrastructure

Worldwide, POSS® monitors a diverse and varied range of railway infrastructure objects. The system provides railway managers and maintenance contractors with the right information to prevent failures.

Level crossings

POSS® can also be used for the (visual) monitoring of level crossings. Data measured include e.g. movements and closure times, road traffic movements, train movements, offences, etc.

Rolling Stock

POSS® can monitor vehicles and board systems, also when the trains are running.

Other objects

Besides railway infrastructure and rolling stock, POSS® also monitors objects such as building excavations, bridges and tunnels.
