Gert Jan Vos appointed as the new CEO of Strukton Bouw & Vastgoed

11|11|2008 -  Gert Jan Vos has been appointed the new CEO of Strukton Bouw & Vastgoed. He succeeds Henk Janssen, who has decided to resign in consultation with the Board of Directors of Strukton Groep.   

Strukton Railinfra changes name into Strukton Rail

31|08|2008 -  Strukton Railinfra has changed its name into Strukton Rail as of September 1st, 2008. The name change fits in the internationalisation of the company.    

Order for POSS monitoring on West Coast Main Line

19|08|2008 -  Network Rail has awarded Strukton Rail the contract to deliver the POSS monitoring system for 600 points along the West Coast Main Line. All major points along this 542 kilometre long railway line will be connected to POSS – Strukton’s remote preventive and diagnostic monitoring system.   
  
 
In the years ahead, the European train safety control system ERTMS will be introduced on more stretches of rail. Maintenance aspects are currently being overlooked in this context. Rob Redeker, technical consultant at Strukton Rail Consult, advocates a thorough approach.
