Ballast profilers 



Ballast profilers perform their work before or after tamping the track. The machines distribute the ballast evenly and restore the ballast bed profile, which gives the ballast bed the required lateral resistance.

SSP 121 D Ballast Plough

The SSP 121 D ballast plough does not have any ballast bunker and can therefore only plough the ballast. Two brushes enable a higher work speed than shown by an ordinary ballast plough.
