In cooperation with Belgian subsidiary Strukton Ralinfra nv in Merelbeke (B), the Traction & Overhead Wiring unit of Strukton Railinfra won a sizeable contract for work on the overhead wire system in Belgium.
The Dutch-Belgian Strukton Railinfra combination made the most economical offer in a tender procedure published by Belgian rail infrastructure operator Infrabel. The contract is valued at approximately 9,3 million euros. The works are planned to start in the spring of 2008 and will last for nearly three years.
