Strukton Railinfra has organised a conference on risk management in practice in Eindhoven, the Netherlands on 12 October 2006. In so doing, Strukton Railinfra wants to contribute to the discussion on how to reduce the risks of working along the track.

The safety of the people working on and along the track is an important theme within the railways. Delegates from all parties involved in railways will discuss the theme of risk management in practice.

Dr. Job Groeneweg, lecturer and research worker at the Cognitive Psychology Department at Leiden University in the Netherlands, will conduct the conference and discussion. The conference will be opened by Mr. J. Laemers, Building Director of the Dutch Labour Inspectorate.
