During IAF2006, an international trade fair for railway equipment in Münster (Germany), Strukton Railinfra Materieel received the EBA certificate for its chain ballast cleaner 4, Matisa C750. This enables faster transport and implementation of the chain ballast cleaner 4 in Germany.
 
The EBA certificate is comparable to the Dutch IVW certificate. The chain ballast cleaner 4 was already approved by DB-netz so that it could be deployed in Germany, but this approval would not take effect until the EBA certificate for the machine had also been obtained. 

The EBA certificate is recognised in most European countries and makes it simpler to obtain temporary or permanent admission. For all new equipment of Strukton Railinfra Materieel that are key export items, admission requirements have been met and are maintained in Sweden, Germany and Italy, in addition to the Dutch requirements.
