Deutsche Bahn has informed Strukton Railinfra that it prequalifies for standard works on the catenaries. This prequalification allows Strukton Railinfra to compete for work on the overhead wire system in Germany.

Strukton Railinfra was already prequalified for work on the track (Gleise und Weiche). The prequalification for work on the overhead system can be seen as complementary to the prequalifications earned by Georg Reisse GmbH & Co. This German firm was acquired by Strukton Railinfra in April 2007. Thw prequalification for work on the catenaries is valid until October 2009.
