Strukton Railinfra has acquired the property of the German railway company Georg Reisse GmbH & Co KG. Strukton Railinfra already has companies in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. Reisse enables Strukton Railinfra to act on the German market. The expansion is a further stepping stone into Europe and offers further opportunities for exchanging people and machines.
Reisse is also satisfied with the take-over. The German family business, with its headquarters in the city of Kassel, was looking for a new owner who knows the European market. Reisse and Strukton Railinfra fit well together. Both companies have been investing in their people, technology and equipment for many years and wish to continue that policy.
Reisse’s more than 170 staff members are highly welcome at Strukton Railinfra. Their railway company will continue to operate under the name of Reisse, but as part of a European company with opportunities not only in Germany but also in other countries.
