The Telecom & Technical Installations division of Strukton Systems has been awarded the three-year full-service maintenance contract for the technical installations in two road tunnels in The Hague. The customer is the municipality of The Hauge. The two tunnels (Hubertustunnel and Koningstunnel) are 1,500 and 800 metres long.

This contract is of strategic importance for Strukton Systems. Project leader Peter de Wilde: "We have gained expertise in the maintenance of railway tunnels, such as the Barendrecht covering, five tunnel tubes with a length of 1,500 metres each, the 850 metre long Dive Under, and various tunnels along the Betuwe Route. We are increasingly getting jobs outside of the rail infrastructure industry.”
