A tragic fatal accident occurred early Thursday morning in Sweden on the Southern Main Line at Örtofta near Eslöv, where one of our Dutch colleagues was hit by a passing train. The colleague’s relatives have been informed and habilitation manager, psychologists and colleagues are in place to support the employees who were present when the accident occurred.
Strukton Rail has as yet no detailed information to give about the circumstances of the accident. Our focus is now on supporting our deceased colleague's family and colleagues.
The accident will be investigated by the police, the Work Environment Authority and the Transport Administration (Trafikverket).
